Clay started at Paterson, MacDougall LLP in May of 2005 after having completed his Articles with Turkstra, Mazza in 1990.  Upon being called to the Bar in 1991, he took a 15-year hiatus from the practice of law in order to pursue a career first as an actor, then as an owner, creator and operator of various restaurants, bars and night clubs.  Clay was a member of the University of Oregon and Canadian Junior National Track and Field Teams.  He enjoys the love of his two children, accumulating knowledge, 70’s/80’s rock, Toyota Land Cruisers and, of course, playing hockey.
