Alison is an associate with Paterson MacDougall LLP.  Alison is developing her practice in the areas of aviation law and insurance defence.

Prior to joining the firm in May 2025, Alison articled in-house at a trade association in Ottawa and at a large pharmaceutical company in Toronto.

Alison obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa Common Law program.  During law school, Alison worked at the Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic (CIPPIC) and was a research assistant at the Smart Prosperity Institute.  Prior to attending law school, Alison obtained her Honours Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Economics from the University of Toronto.
